The culminating activity of the Digital Science Training Program of the UP CIDS Program on Escaping the Middle-Income Trap: Chains for Change and the UP CIDS Program on Data Science for Public Policy on December 19, 2020 (Saturday), 2:30 PM (PHT), via Facebook Live.
The Digital Citizen Science Training Program aims to stimulate the partnership of various societal actors – policymakers, business, academe, and communities – in order to jointly address the complex and systemic challenges facing our world today through digital citizen science. The pilot of the five-week program was conducted in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) and was jointly organized by faculty from the University of the Philippines Mindanao, the Institute of Peace and Development in Mindanao, the Data Science Para sa Bayan (DSPB) Initiative, the Community Wireless & Power Corporation, Partnership Resource Center of the Rotterdam School of Management, and UP CIDS.
